The CA Final course consists of 8 theoretical papers followed by a compulsory training period. Students who have cleared all the papers in CA Inter may appear for the Final exams. CA final course students have to complete three years of practical training, they will be appearing for the exams during the last six months of this training period. Students are also required to be a part of four weeks of Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology (AICITSS). The CA final paper consists of the following subjects:
Group I -
The CA Final is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) twice a year. A candidate must register themselves with the Board of Studies (BOS). They have to meet the following criteria to be eligible to attempt the exams
Chartered accountancy is a very challenging and rewarding profession. Chartered Accountants are qualified to take on a set of specific activities such as taxation, auditing, accounting and financial planning. A candidate who had cleared their CA intermediate exam and has completed their articleship can proceed to attempt the CA Final exams which is the last step to becoming a Chartered Accountant. On completing all the exams and articleship candidates are required to gain membership with the ICAI before they can start practising. They can then find a full-fledged career in areas such as Banks, Public Limited Companies, Auditing Firms, Finance Companies, Portfolio Management Companies, Investment houses, Stock Broking firms, Legal Firms etc.
